these are the factors i would consider if i were looking for a landscaper

1) Can they design Gardens? One of the main reasons I would use the service of a Landscaper is because I have no idea where to start and what the layout and scale should be. Look at the Landscape Design page on their web site to get a feeling of their skills. Is the designer known in the industry. Type a Google Search in and see what pops up, that is what I would do if I wanted to install a new Kitchen or were looking for a Architect. 2) What other people say – Look at the Testimonials to get a feeling if they deliver a good quality solution and considers the Customers needs and deliver on their promise. The proof is as always in the pudding. You will find our testimonials at the bottom of our Home page. 3). Are they Punctual? – If a service provider cannot be on time for the first meeting how will they deliver a project on time and within Budget. 4). Are they desperate? – One can sense if someone is trying to oversell themselves. Previous work completed is a good benchmark here. I don’t mind if the solution requires complexity that is not always executed and must be understood first (often the case with landscaping) but basic tasks in landscaping should be part of the DNA of the Company. 5) Would you do it at the Quoted price? If it sounds to good to be true then it always is. Don’t fall for this sales technique. If you reckon the Irrigation should be in a certain range then a price that is far less will have dire consequences because not one is in business to loose money. 6) Will they be around next year?  Even though you are not getting married to the supplier I like to know that if I need assistance down the line I would be able to get in touch and get support. 7) Does their costing hide detail? If I were to re upholster my furniture for example I would like to see the dimensions of my cushions on the quote not just one figure. Although in Landscaping detail requires a lot of work it should be done in order for all parties to know what the deliverables of the project will be. It is important that the supplier is clear and transparent. 8) Are they a one stop shop? Although some people like to manage certain aspects and take the guarantee for that I like the supplier to handle the project and all the landscaping aspects for me. If they need a Sub Contractor for something that is fine but they must manage the execution. A electrician is a gray area here since they need to carry their own guarantee.
